This black color comes from activated charcoal, derived from wood and nut shells. These shells are remnants from factories where they are cracked open and separated from their edible interior. Think of coconuts, walnuts, peanuts, pistachios, hazelnuts, pumpkin seeds, almonds, macadamia nuts, and pecans. In addition to these natural ingredients, no chemicals are ever used during the dyeing process.
